After independently reading and annotating the excerpt from the article "Changing Ideals of Womanhood During the Nineteenth-Century Movement" you are going to work with a group of your peers to create a presentation of the information you learned. You must include each of the following elements in your presentation:
1. One slide that illustrates the main idea of the excerpt 2. At least 3 slides covering 3 supporting details 3. One slide where you make a connection between the article and one of the following texts: "The Story of an Hour," "Ain't I a Woman," The Crucible or Incidents in the Life of a Slave Girl. 4. One slide with a discussion question for further inquiry into the topic of emerging feminism in literature. 5. One slide providing an evaluative statement of this text. 6. One additional multimedia element. This could be a short video clip, an ad that your group creates, a Kahoot game, a storyboard, an audio compilation, a graphic with other linked sources for additional information, on the topic, etc. NOTE: I have attached the article in case you need it, but remember that we only read the first 7 pages. |
